Sadly, Chris Abbott has recently announced that C64Audio.com is closing down on June 30th, 2025. The site has been up and running since 1997 (!) - its importance in getting the Commodore (and general 8-bit) remix scene off the ground simply cannot be overstated.

Until then their online store is having a closing down sale with heavily discounted pricing. Most content of the site will also be slowly transitioning to its new page on Bandcamp in the coming years, so many of the albums produced by C64audio over the decades that had so much love and effort poured into them will eventually be available there.

The Remix News for April, 2025 is here! Interestingly enough, this also marks the 4th month in a row that we had exactly 19 remix releases (C64+Amiga). Hmm!… Enjoy the voiceover for this episode by Marcel - and I wonder whose track was picked as a spotlight for this month… ??

The Remix News for the month of March 2025 is out! Listen to excerpts of what was released on AmigaRemix and RKO last month - and enjoy the soothing baritone voice of Boz as he announces each release. (Thanks for lending us your voice, Boz! ?) Hot on the heels of the previous edition, Remix News for the month of February 2025 is here! There were lots of great releases in that month, too, so if you're curious what you missed, you can listen to excerpts from all of them at the link below.

AmigaLive on Twitch is having their yearly AMIGApril event and Fluke73 is taking part in this by playing Amiga Music Live for 30 days. (That's one show EVERY DAY for 30 days!) The shows will mostly be on at 22:00 (CET) every day with some adjustments for each day if needed.

On Tuesday, April 1, 2025 SLAY Radio will feature an Amiga-exclusive live show for the first time, hosted by iZero. Tune in at 20:00 (CET) to listen to it!

On March 27th none other than 2024's Remixer of the Year Eivind Sommersten was the guest on SLAY Radio's weekly live radio program. The wide-ranging interview with him is available in its entirety on YouTube at the link below.

If you are in the southern part of Sweden you now have the oportunity to see Fluke73 live at Hoardershop in Helsingborg on Saturday March 29 between 11-16 CET. It's their 1 year anniversary and they are celebrating with a nerd market (Nördmässa).

It was just announced that ZZAP! Live will be returning this year, too, expanded to a 2-day event to be held in Kenilworth, UK on May 17 and 18, 2025. Of particular interest to SID music fans is that the Musician QA session will also return, yet again hosted by Peter Clarke on Saturday evening (May 17) at 7pm (local time). And this time SLAY Radio will also be in full force at the event, in person, and live streaming it all, with Slaygon, Ziona and Boz behind the mike. Many notable names from the C64's heydays are confirmed guests, with several more expected to be confirmed in the coming days and weeks.
