I did this remix cause this was the first game i ever played on the C64. Also cause i wanted to remix an odd tune and not a famous tune like Monty on the run etc 😊

When i hear the original tune i get great chills down my back when i think back on the great days fighting with my family and friends. (Not THAT kind of fighting hehe 😊 )

Twenty five years since this remix was released, and still as iconic as it was back then. It may not sound as well produced as others, but the whole essence of the tune remains wonderfully intact here, complete with sensible variations on the theme as the tune loops - with plenty of funky drums and some gorgeous instruments to add depth too. Classic.

Not many remixes stand the test of time, but here we are, almost 26 years later and I still enjoy listening to this one as much as ever. The dancey-trancey treatment that WOTEF got here fits surprisingly well. I also love those echoes that are all over the place, they really give this remix a unique character. Even the instruments don't sound as outdated as maybe they should, they are all tightly woven together.
