Here we go with a remix of one of my all-time favourite Chris Hülsbeck Amiga tunes, which was made for the Encore 500 Volume 2 album! I’ve had this track on my bucket list for ages, and when Jogeir Liljedahl & Rapture came out with their version, that was the final inspiration as I really like how they approached it - this is why my song starts where theirs ends.
The Encore 500 Volume 2 is dedicated to our beloved friend, Peter Clarke, who will be forever in our hearts. These albums were his babies and we wanted to pay a final tribute to him with finishing it after he has passed away last year.
When I mentioned him my plan with this track, he smiled and jokingly said that I will most certainly take this soundscape onto the highway - referring to my high-energy obsession - so I tried my best to live up to this!
This is my very first Amiga Remix, and who knows where the road goes, maybe the end of the song gave us some hints here😉

Honestly, there are very few Turrican 2 remixes I've heard before that are better than this one, and one of those was made by Chris Hülsbeck himself for his own CD album.
I could probably nitpick my way through this remix to find tiny little faults in it, but frankly, who cares. It's a great remix and the love of the original shines through this one like a beacon. Great remix!
