Although funky, this mix doesn't do anything for me. Maybe its the shrill lead or maybe the Sonic remix machine is running out of juice? Tempted to vote "average", but the otherwise high production quality pulls it up a notch.
As much as I really want to like this, the lead is not a good choice, so I have a hard time relating to it. It's well produced sure, but it needs that extra something to make it better. Maybe a tweaking job is in order here, cos it's nice & funky?
Its one of those.... (needs a producer to help out) moment.. Lots of good stuff but carried off not too perfectly but could have been.
Not gonna buck the trend here. Not his best, but a nice happy thing. Agreed that it needs someone else to remix the remix though. Shrill and painful, the lead misses the feel of the SID version.

When the lead that is a little out of pitch appears me likes!! Overall proffesional.
I dont like the lead synth that comes in at 1:17, but despite that I'm giving it a Very Good. The rest of the song is too good for only a Good :-)

I love this :D And as the opposite to some others I will not give it a bad rate just because the remixer is famous and have made better stuff. This is just plain cool. Just a little minus for the lead...

As usual I vote against the masses :-) technically the tune is very good, but the choice of instruments does not fit for me, makes the tune flat.
I really like the S. W-sound, although this tune sounds a little "rushed", and as other people stated, the lead maybe isn't the perfect fit. Absolutely listenable though! Always when I hear S. W new remixes I get inspired to something of my own.
Nice! Although a bit too unz.. Unz.. Unz style! But this is 'ususal sonic' style here. So guess we have to live with that! ;-) But be careful. This won't work forever in the future!;-)

Dont know how and why, but Flimbo is the Soundtrack of many wonderfull memories. This Remix is fresh, the Sonic-style is fresh... So please keep on with it!

Some flaws in the melody, which could as well be called a free interpretation, nothing serious. Feel-good music with some Techno elements. Nice combination, but not my cup of tea, thus "only" Good.
