Story

I started working on this track about 20 years ago, as a quick dance remix. Added something each odd year, and finally completed it. Was it worth the wait? You decide. ;-D

Made in Reason versions 2 - 12 lol.

Thx Danko for lending me your ears during the mix/master phase.

I love that kick, it's a homage to the c64 all unto itself! Technically this is also great - however I'm no fan of the the source material (ie the original) so it's a little hard for me to truly dig this.
Wonderful! Now where's my hacky-sack...
It sounds very mid 00s LMan!;)
Not my fav genre but well-produced with some nice sounds and good vibes! Also plus points for picking an odd but likeable tune from a nostalgic game for me. Well done!
I love those Doppler synth sweeps. So many neat ideas in this mix, spanning every version of reason I it seems. Great work LMan!
20 years in the making, eh? Makes my 5-10 year old remixes in my ''vault'' look young by comparison. 😁 Excellent stomping remix!
Great tune - somehow it remembers me also a little bit to 'wintergames' :P

About time you got you finger out Markus 😊 Thumping remix, with lots of sonic ear candy cleverly mixed to keep this sounding fresh. I especially like the break drum sequence at 1:26, and those smooth pitch bending synths throughout. I do long for some snares in the drums later, rather than the four on the floor, to add variety, but all in all it's just good to have you back.

When Makke says it sounds 20 years old, is it because it is 20 years old or because Makke is right?

Nobody knows.

To me, personally, this sounds like an improvement over anything anyone would have attempted to produce 20 years ago. And that is all. Spring cleaning and moving on is awesome, Lman!
