Rallye Master (Encore500) - arranged by Romeo KnightReview by LaLa, 15/01/2024 Personally, I think the original Rallye Master Obarski tune is a bit uninspiring (ducks hail of rotten tomatoes thrown his way…), but Romeo Knight makes the most out of the material with a genius idea: make it into a Depeche Mode pastiche! It's spot on! Really well done, the early 80s style is instantly recognizable. |

Leander - Title (Encore500) - arranged by Glyn R BrownReview by LaLa, 15/01/2024 The original one is fairly cinematic, too, so it's a perfect fit for that special electronic-cinematic treatment that only Glyn can provide. He is in full force here commanding a spectrum of instrumentation that several Hollywood music producers would be envious of. Just majestic! |

Amberstar - Title (Encore500) - arranged by Jogeir LiljedahlReview by LaLa, 15/01/2024 OMG, that intro sends chills down my spine! A great emotional piece. My only wish is that the vocal was featured more than just in the intro. |

A Prehistoric Tale - arranged by Jogeir LiljedahlReview by SoDa7, 25/11/2023 What a wonderful version - it gives a modern, fully enjoyable vibe while at the same time keeping the same feel as the original version! |

Endtheme (Encore500) - arranged by Jogeir LiljedahlReview by Jackal, 07/11/2023 Such a wonderful Vangelis feel to this piece. I couldn't help but shed a tear at it's absolute beauty. I had to go seek out the original, and I'm blown away by the vision he had to take it to this level. If you close your eyes, it's like being in 1986 all over again. |

A Prehistoric Tale - arranged by Jogeir LiljedahlReview by Poke16384, 07/11/2023 Unmistakably Jogeir… but a really faithful remix of Johen Hippel's original… The soundscape is SOOO nice, spread out and airy… There's just enough modification here for Jogeir to put his own signature on it… (and clearly a lot of respect for the original work)… Lot's of lovely playing in the performance, especially the bent & slid notes of the melody… My ears are in paradise… |

Endtheme (Encore500) - arranged by Jogeir LiljedahlReview by LaLa, 14/10/2023 I fell in love with his version right away and I can't stop listening to it - Jogeir extended the short original into a beautiful five and a half minute long chill piece, and I'm so glad it also features that wonderful melody line of the original prominently. Sorry, all other talented remixers, but we have a winner - this is my absolute favorite from the Encore500 album, bar none. |

Complications (Encore500) - arranged by Peter ClarkeReview by Danko, 09/10/2023 Not my favorite Complications Remix, but the best Complications Remix.I wish I had nothing to do with it. Having been privy to how Peter approached this interpretation was impressive. Initially it was to be 70s Motown, then Disco pretty much came out of the mixing process. The end result is Disco without the Cheese, showing Peter's talent when it comes to choosing tasteful aesthetics. Peter got a severe upper hand by being able to play those funky guitar, Rhodes Piano and Hammond Organ licks live and with great articulation. To me, this is what makes all the difference in a world of 100% In-The-Box DAW Remixes. It did take a lot more effort when it came to the mixing and mastering, however in hindsight it was definitely worth all the ache, pain and harassment from Peter. As I recall things it was the other way around with the C64 version happening later, but I digress… Friendly banter aside, this track shows Peter Clarke's strength as a professional musician on guitar and keyboard which is something I've been suggesting for him to get back into after a decade of fake symphonic orchestral remixes. So glad he did, because this one is one of the funkiest tracks on Remix64 this year and so different from all the numerous Complications remixes out there! |

A Piece of Magic (The Armandox Treatment) - arranged by ArmandoxReview by Enigma, 13/06/2023 You took this mod to a whole new level! Great choice of lead sounds and remaking this. It's got a litlle bit of this 80's synthpop vibe with it even! Much improvement on the original!!! |

Guitar Stardust Space Debris Slinger Medley - arranged by 0Supereg0Review by Poke16384, 06/05/2023 My 1st listen to this remix left me scratching my head a little. So, I gave it 2 more listens… It certainly wanders off the beaten path but that isn't necessarily a negative in itself. The overall soundscape is pleasing & warm and definitely suits 'Guitar Slinger'. Where I have issue is in the arrangement & execution. There are 'bum' notes in a couple of the guitar runs, early on and; guessing that some or all of this was actually played, I can understand why you have simplified a lot of the faster flourishes & riffs from Jogeir's original. A lot of the middle section has a different chord structure also with minor chords appearing, (again, no bad thing in itself) but it becomes unrecognisable as Guitar Slinger… I honestly admire & applaud remixes that take original MODs to a new place, (you'll notice I've scored it 'red' for Artistic Skill to reflect just this) but overall it is only a 'good' for me. Some of the ideas in this remix are very good, only let down a bit by the execution. |

Superfrog - Ancient level (Ode to Hathor remix) - arranged by SoundspawnerReview by fluke73, 05/05/2023 This is a really fresh remix! Wonderfull atmosphere in the begining. Love the great stereo separation. Over all it's a really fresh take on this song. The only let down was the ending that was a bit too abrubt. |

Jaguar XJ220 - Moody Breeze - Speedy Breeze - arranged by CoupsReview by RomanoImigranto, 03/04/2023 Good job!! Choice of sounds gets you on unexpected time travel. I like the chords and lead sounds. The original sound of car engine its great at the beginning. As for me some drum parts could have been a little bit more varied. But overall very good aragment. |

Monday (Maf remake) - arranged by mafReview by Isacco1975, 16/03/2023 I am a fan of Maf's music. Since many years he disappeared (maf464) from Youtube. I started with his first Mafland song due to a mobile game called Fastball 2. |

Mobyle - arranged by StuReview by Isacco1975, 11/03/2023 I am not familiar with this tune, but I like those lounge sounds, especially the electric piano and the organs. It's all well mixed and every instrument is in the right place. Great mood 😊 |

Guitar Slinger - Second Part Remix - arranged by ElEcTrAReview by Isacco1975, 10/03/2023 A good remix, maybe I should change drums, but anyway the mood is amazing. Great atmosphere! I like it. |

Lizardking's Theme (Paid In Full) - arranged by Dr.FutureReview by WizardOz, 05/03/2023 A faithfully remake of one of the best scene-melodies from the Amiga. Bringing it into the future with a great guitar-lead while having its roots from the 80's and 90's remain with crisp, clear synth-backing. A delight for the ears! |

Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road Medley - arranged by Luke McCreaReview by Soundspawner, 13/02/2023 Since you are a newcomer (me too by the way😉) It would be nice to give you a more in depth review. For a first remix this is quite good 😊 I really like the bass guitar. The mix is alright. It's very close to the original which is both good and not so good (nostalgia factor is high though) Some constructive criticism: - It's a bit bleak not so much happening. - Also a bit repetitive but I know the original is quite repetitive as well. - mixing is OK but it could be opened up a bit, i.e. more panning would be nice, also a bit of EQ'ing (particularly the low and high end) - Good mastering will make it sound better as well - Instrument choice is a bit meh IMO too close to the original, the synths could use some layering. Same with the drums. - It could use some extra instruments (i.e. pads/strings, special fx) to make it sound bigger and more interesting. But again: this is quite a solid remix and I'm looking forward to more remixes 😊 Fat yellow smiley, close to orange. Keep it up! |

Lost Patrol (NAM Edit) - arranged by Dr.FutureReview by Armandox, 20/01/2023 Love the slap bass line! The mix is a bit 'middy' but overall a good listening experience. Rock 'n roll \m/(>. |

Stardust Memories - arranged by MakkeReview by Armandox, 20/01/2023 I never heard the original, but this has been very well produced and mixed. Everything finds it's place in this remix and it's also exceptionally well mastered. I like the late 80's synthwave and eurodance vibe in this! I'm going to check out more of your remixes! |

X-Out Highscore - arranged by AmokReview by AmigaMelody, 19/01/2023 Very uplifting as the original, but wrong notes ruin it for me (1:53, 1:56, 2:02, 2:04 etc. - should be lower). |
