Story

Finally we got real drums on this track, which was not possible due to lockdown before! This was a bit of a hard nut to crack, as we did the full 6 1/2 minutes with all the different parts. Everything was transposed down by a half tone to make it less awkward on guitar and bass (and yes: the samples were transposed, too 😉). This time the video has some glimpses of ourselves (and even of a C64). Have fun!

Change of key in the main tune is nice, but doesn't quite work for me - leaving the samples in means realistically it sounds out of tune with those. Nice effort, just needs more thought into the execution.
A very nice effort, but there are bits and pieces of it that just don't sit well with me (like the alterations of the melody line). I feel there's more potential in here.
The reviews are a tad harsh. This is very close to being grest - some parts are stronger than others and would love to hear a revised release. It is one of those great tracks that, sadly, doesn't have a great remix!

You’ve nailed that feel of a live band jamming on stage and you’ve built a head nodding groove. I particularly like the switch at the end to the bass player noodling around the notes. The mix feels a bit flat to me and the guitar solo is a little quiet plus the pads around the 2 minute mark jump in a bit unexpectedly, but I love the texture they bring. I’ve found myself coming back to this track many times this evening, fantastic work.
