A few very hokey samples ruin the feeling here. It also doesn't seem to know whether it wants to be a fantasy-style or a more 'serious' symphonic remix.
The beginning was good and with a mood… But then the orchestra simply doesnt work. Maybe you should try to arrange in a different way the part and to use the samples in a different way.
I was toying with the idea to choose grey, but I decided for yellow, because it's like pain-in-the-ass to compose an orchestral remix that really works. My orch-version of zoids took me several days, too… And it's close to CRAP!?
What paralax said. There are just too many remixes of this tune. Explore HVSC! If you're serious about orchestral arrangements consider investing in a better sample library.
I love the symphonic take on this. But the different samples doesnt quite work together. Some retuning would have made a better remix I think.
I joined just to rate this, I dont quite understand the complaints, to me this is actually superior to the symphonic shades live orchastral version… And I LOVE the instruments… Its powerful, unique… Bright and dark where it needs to be… Red face!
