Back in Time LIVE! 2025 Tickets Now Available

09/09/2025

As announced late last year, the FastLoaders will yet again organize a BIT LIVE! party in 2025, this time as part of the Play! Festival in Bergen, Norway. It will be hosted in the city's most prestigious venue, Grieghallen, in the heart of the city.

The full program is yet to be announced, but there will be live performances, remix competition, SID Dj's, and SLAY Radio will be there, too. The FastLoaders themselves will also perform on stage with a set of old and new renditions from their massive discography.

Tickets to the event are now available at Ticketmaster. For more updates and questions, follow the event at www.facebook.com/BackInTimeLive.

"Amiga 40" by Allister Brimble

12/08/2025

Hi all, I'm very excited to release my new album which is a tribute to 40 years of the Amiga, an extraordinary machine that shaped so much of my creative life.

It also honours Martyn Brown, whose encouragement opened the door to game music for me. His work with Team17 defined an era, and I owe much of my path to his belief in what I could do.

One track, ST-01, is something I’ve wanted to create for decades: a full remake of the original SoundTracker instruments. I’ve gone back to the source samples, reworking and restoring them with care, trying to capture not just the sound, but the feeling of those early days.

This album is for anyone who remembers the thrill of booting up Workbench, the joy of discovering new mods, and the magic of making music on a machine that felt like it truly understood you.

I hope it brings back some of that wonder.

PRESS PLAY ON TAPE: HOME COMPUTER

by PRESS PLAY ON TAPE

PRESS PLAY ON TAPE are legends. This is their third studio CD, and it's a doozy, combining kick-your-bottom C64 remixes with original brain-beatingly good tracks. Although obliterated from Wikipedia by pedants who can't cope with reality, there's no keeping these guys down! Rock on!! 26 tracks of mayhem, a double CD, over 2 hours of music! Comes with a 32 page souvenir booklet, packed with photos of Soren. And some other guys, not sure who they are, but they look dodgy to me… *hehe* This album is not available to buy from us digitally, only from iTunes, but FLAC and MP3 Album packs are downloadable when you purchase the CD. * Note: all preorders have now been sent out * PPOT delivers exactly what is expected of them, and their fans will love this CD. New fans will without doubt take it to their hearts too, because no matter if you're a fan of vocals on remixes or not, there's plenty of music to enjoy. - Andreas Wallstrom, C64.com

Listening Recommendation

Sigh of The Eye (Analog Dust)

Arranged by ifadeo

I got a bit confused when i listened to this, the tune said sigh of the eye but my ear said platoon you buffoon!

so delving into mr dunn (ooer) i realise he obviously liked this tune so much he put it into platoon (or lifted it out and did a better sounding version) either way ifadeo has done something rather beautiful with it.
Its a very easy going sound that he has created, I can hear the usual trademark synths being used too good effect as ifadeo does, the tune was pleasent and very beautiful in the 1st place and this is pure lounge business.

The only gripe i really have is with the hi-hats in the background of the beat they sound a little too dirty but thats just a minor thing when the rest of the tune is as good as it is.
Not an essential download, you dont need this to have the definitive c64 collection but if you like good music and love easy going melodies then this would be for you.

As i said before a sociably acceptable remix that pleases my ear personally and i recommend downloading it, and for those that have never heard of the tune heed the words above it is platoon sid2 aswell as sigh of the eye so if u like that essential if you dont then trying things new never hurt anybody… except novice sword swallowers of course.

Monty On The Run (I've Heard This Song Before)

Arranged by druu

This remix is really involving and the part of piano is quite simply brilliant. I liked the first listening.

It's a good remix, reminds me the last rendez-vous of Jean Michel Jarre in his album Rendez-vous.
