Brilliant! That's the powerful no nonsense stumping sound the gods of video game music intended all along. Love it! It gets the drift of the original and strengthens it.
I'm guessing you used nothing but a Digitone II for this remix? In which case I applaud your self-imposed limitation which tends to encourage creativity. I quite like it with its raspy and bit-crushed (FM?) sonic signature.
