Story
I had this tune on my mind for a long time so I decided to make my version of it. This was back in 1997 and I made it with CakeWalk 3.0 and my Roland SC-88.

This is NOT a copy of Reyn's remix. I found out his tune several years after.

I like red devil's original tunes more, but this remix is awesome!
There are better versions, but this one's very good, too! Added to my collection.
Nicley kept the original theme and feelings with some great add ons makes it an exelent track

It would be extremely hard for anybody to top Reyn's own cover of the intro tune, but Red Devil has tried to do just that. Did a fairly decent job, for that matter (I really like it when the flute plays the lead in the middle part!), but I think this cover sounds a bit too much like Reyn's own version with strings, piano, choir, flute. Yes, Red Devil added his won twists to it, but I still feel this is a copycat effort, although a really good one.

An awesome atmosphere (somewhere between majestic and melancholic) is created by this arrangement. The highlights of this remix being piano and pan-flute as lead instruments, a well-balanced choice of mostly accoustic instruments and a rhythm which keeps you caught for the entire song.

I actually had gotten past playing C64 when Last Ninja 3 came out, so I never heard it back then… but I went back 10 years later after discovering SIDs… I downloaded this tune 'cause I always loved all the Last Ninja 1 & 2 tunes… This one was outstanding… I heard it before I heard the SID… and I was almost disappointed to hear the SID in comparison… great, great job.
