I was always interested more in the future than the past. As so, most of the time I listen to new C64 music and not the classics that remix scene is mostly about. I respect the golden era but time is going on and new-school composers have put many exciting new things on the table. It's greatly inspiring to me.
I heard Mibri's juggernaut tune during the live stream of ÁROK 2025 party so it is a relatively fresh SID. Immediately I knew that I will try to create a guitar version of this one sometime. It happened a couple of months later. It was the recording test song for the HILS HN3 guitar that you can see in the video. This rendition was performed live during the Bit'em Up chiptune event in December 2025. Around the time we got contact with Mibri who is the composer of the song and had some great talk about, well, everything. He is a really cool guy and a fellow guitarist, playing guitars for the post-cyber-punk band Zilch Patrol:
