An Interview with Slaygon

Creator of SIDS, Developer of C64.org and soon remixer of classics. Slaygon dedicates alot of his time to the c64. The C64.org site has become one of the most respected c64 sites creating a free and always free a resource to the c64 comunity. This was a guy who we just had to interview. This interview was Remix64's first LIVE interview so we hope this adds to the overall feel.
An Interview with Mark Cooksey
Mark Cooksey of Ghosts and Goblins fame was a recognised musician who worked mainly for Elite. During this time he was responsable for many great tunes some of which are: Bomb Jack, Space Harrier, Paperboy. Steve Barrett was one of the earliest composers on the c64. Steve admits that his music wasn't technically ground breaking. Fortunately his talent still shone with some of the most melodic pieces on the c64. Blue Meanies being one of these melodic pieces which Reyn Ouwehand has expertly covered on his Nexus CD.
An Interview with Markus Schneider
The author of Rolling Ronny, lethal Zone, No mercy, Xiphoids and the Amiga version of Tusker plans sometime this year to enter the remix scene, possibly with Thomas Detert. However Markus is a busy man so finding the time is his major limitation. If Markus or Thomas do re-create some of their music then i for one shall be very interested in the outcome.

o2 gives us a short but precise interview. O2 has created many dreamlike scores this is because of his musical influences, people like Jarre and Enya have made an impression on o2, and this is why you get these atmospheric remixes.

Another Guy who provided some excellent tunes for the Turrican series of games. For some reason Stefan wan't consulted about about his music for Turrican before the game hit the market. Stefan explains that he was a bit disappointed
by this. Some of the Software Houses in the days of the c64 really do have a lot to answer to.
An Interview with Fredrik Segerfalk
Fredrik composed the music for Shadow Of the Beast and Kick Off. Two outstanding games with outstanding soundtracks. The Kick Off series of games are still being made to this very day over a decade later. Fredrik tells a sad story here, where his hard work was literally and to put it bluntly RIPPED OFF!!!
