Part 1: One night, for some reason, I woke up with the main melody playing in my head. Then, still being dizzy, I imagined it as a hardstyle track with its signature kickdrum and detuned leads. Then, I forgot about it for months.
Part 2: This year, I didn't have much time to make a remix for Arok party's annual remix competition but still tried to finish something. I started with the above idea, threw it out after 1 hour off fiddling, and spent 2 more hours with somehow make it listen-worthy by just dumping some industrial-a-like instruments into the project.
Part 3: To my biggest surprise, the remix has won this year's remix competition at Arok.
Part4: Kroetenwanderung? Yeah, hiking in German forests and seeing random warning signs has its perks. At least I had no sleepless nights with thinking of a track title this time.
