Story

When i heard a cover of Faded (2015) by Alan Walker as a sid tune and i realized that it uses the same chord progression as Plastic Pop (1991) by Tomas Danko. I felt i just had to make the Faded song in style of Plastic Pop. Since my final version uses the real voice from the original song i decided to upload the song without the voice track on RKO. The exact same song with the voice track can be found on Youtube.

The song was made from scratch with my Yamaha Tyros 3 and there is only two samples besides the vocals that I'm using outside of the Tyros 3. It's the C64 chord arpeggio and the break fill in sound from the original Alan Walker song.

The link in the video is using the exact same music but with the vocals added.

Without the vocals it sounds way too stiff and robotic. The vocals in the YT version definitely add a human dimension to it, I def prefer that version.
