Supremacy (Encore64 V2) - arranged by Peter ClarkeReview by Poppykuk, 05/12/2024 I am a fan of Peter's remixes in general. You never get a plain old version of anything his fingers touch. The orchestra in this remix is both detailed and emotional and it takes us on another one of those journeys that is his trademark. Supremacy is one of those tunes which has been remixed a few ways but this lifts it into cinematic territory and adds an epic element. And I have to say, that ending, the gradual wind down of the musical watch chime, I almost had a tear in my eye. Real musical emotion.A different take on Supremacy to all the others out there… Cinematic and Epic.. The orchestra work is superb and the way it comes full circle with the gradually slowing watch chimes to finish is super emotive and really clever. |

Afterburner (High Energy Prog Mix) - arranged by Peter ClarkeReview by Poppykuk, 06/05/2021 I loved Space Harrier and this is even more driven & in your face. The instrument mix is superb & spot on for the remix. It's a turbocharged version of the arcade soundtrack with Jeroen Tel's melody layered beautifully into the mix. It drops effortlessly into the break and comes out again, seamlessly changing key for it's finale. My new favourite earworm. Well done! |

Trojan Warrior 2020 - arranged by Dr FutureReview by Poppykuk, 27/10/2020 It's a good remix overall and I quite like it. I've listened to most of dr futures remixes and I have to say that this one doesn't really improve on many of his earlier ones. It is faithful to the original and worth an orange for that category but the rest is yellow for me. |

Space Harrier - arranged by Peter ClarkeReview by Poppykuk, 02/09/2020 I initially just wrote a comment on this remix but I've come back so many times this year to listen to it again & again I felt I had to give it a little more love. What an uplifting remix this is, technically the instruments & the mix are 1st class. The arrangement is brilliant from the agile bassline to the disco-strings it's so good. And from a nostalgia point of view, this IS Space Harrier. It's what I heard in my head, every time I played the game. An outstanding remix from start to finish. |
