Super Cars 2 - arranged by Barry Leitch

I bought the Immortal 3 album specifically for the Super Cars 2 track. This is my all-time favourite amiga tune from my all-time favourite amiga game. Eagerly anticipating a song that will blow your ears off (as promised on www.barryleitch.com), I almost felt swindled hearing reggae from my speakers. I have nothing against reggae in itself, it just doesn't fit this frame. Originally this is an awesome rock tune which here luckily picks up a beat at the uptempo in the end. However, with the original composer and real intruments at disposal, this track could be so much more than it is. I also would have thought Leech would have taken the el-guitar to the levels he couldn't reach with the Amiga chip instead of using electronic phaser sounds.

The original remains king of the hill.
