NecroPolo - X 2026 medley (live)

This track / medley is based on the the closing track of my X 2026 live act set, kinda my way of saying thanks for the inspiration to fellow musicians who visited the party. My admiration of SID music came from the old-school roots like everyone else's but in the last 15 years I became completely blown away from the active C64 composers work.

Originally I wanted it to be a one-off, performed only once on the party. Later Visage of Lethargy convinced me to release it in some form, so here it is, a guitar playthrough video attached to the live act visuals.

It was quite a long time to assemble this one so for the tech side I can only tell that it was all over the place, perhaps everything was used in my studio to some extent. The mix is not overprocessed / overcompressed like an album mix so it sounds a little hollow as it was created for onstage use where high dynamics support the clarity through PA systems and room ambience. You can hear what you can see, both the live act and this recording were one-shots and were performed with a HILS HN3 guitar (tuned to drop-D) through a Hotone Ampero MINI amp sim.
