Hey! welcome to my first ever (published!) C64 "Remix" although, truth be told, it is way more of a "cover" than a remix.

I remember listening to this DIGI on my 64 many many years ago… The first 5 seconds are straight from the sid, with the familiar catch Phrase "I know you gonna dig this " (from the movie "Car Wash" i believe)…

I agree its not a great mix afterall, a little too effected and buried (damn I gotta get rid of this 'verb VSTi!)
But it was a lot of fun to do, expect maybe some more from me, its been an experience, one I'm sure to repeat

This is a very nice effort to take on ReD's sample-laden C64 tune. The guitars are excellent and really form the whole basis of the tune, and while the drums can be a bit repetitive it doesn't detract too much from the overall feel of the mix.

I think this a really nice piece of work albeit too long and the annoying "I Know You're Gonna Dig This" stutter at the start.

I always "heard" this as a eurotechno track, so this is a pretty refreshing idea. The guitar arrangement is great at times, but those drums are just awful! Lifeless and stiff, and kills the otherwise organic vibe.

I've to admit it's almost rather average than good - this is the newcomer bonus. Mixing and sounds are wrong in places, rhythm guitar is too grainy, lead guitar has much too much reverb. Next time will be better.

Sounds kinda really 'thin' for me. There's something missing for a ongoing mix. Too boring bass, drums? Something like that is the reason. Could be a whole way better with those 'bugs' removed...;-)

LOL remixer's nick - hey bro' :) Track: It's approximately 3x as long as it should be :) Sounds may improve here and there, especially drums have been mentioned. But, it's not bad at all.
