FERRY CORSTEN EAT YOUR HEART OUT! Well ok, maybe don't.
As I imagine myself 8-10 years prior to this, I prolly would've spat myself in the face for making euro-trance. But "seasons change and so can I", so here it is, throw your hands up high in the air, touch the sky, feel the love, … or something.
Blowing.sid is IMHO by far the best C64 music (or at least Top10) ever written (much like Insomnia is the best demo) and it is usually on my playlist. I've been always toying around the idea of sortof "upgrading" it since it's so close to "normal" quality that I found it almost obvious to take the song to the next level.
The choice of genre was more or less obvious given the melodies and drive - but the development stalled when I wasn't able to get any close to the sound I wanted. It was only recently when, with the help of Dixan, I was able to produce that type of ambience I wanted to transmit.
There are no major changes to the song melodically except that eerie pad in the background, but that's more a trademark thing - most of my songs have it. It changes the vibe of the song a bit and I really like it that way.
(Oh and considering that the pictures arent from the correct part of the demo - I KNOW. I just found that out too late. But trust me. There's a reason why I chose the pendulum

Waz shouts:Although it is driving and energetic, and certainly well mixed, a couple of the instrument choices may need tweaking here and there, most notably the squelchy backing voice which doesn't quite fit in place. Fix that and it's a winner.
Its well done. But makes me feel a little dizzy - too energetic if anything. Maybe I need one of those strange little strawberry pictured tablets?

A lot of enery in this one, I like it!! But I think I'm hearing some kind of hack/break/disortion in the drum-loop? Or maybe it's just a little off/late?

Mega-Sorry, Gargaj... Nothing personal for sure! ;-) But I'm _way_ tooooo "moog-erized" at this moment now and mabye not quite objective therefore in the comparism... ;-)) At least it's a 'good' one here... Although a bit tooo 'unz.. Unz"-

Nice take on the tune, allthough not all seemed to fit.

brix shouts:What the fuck? When the clock ticks 1:45 this one gets me started, calms me down again at 2:14, draws me back into the flow at 2:40 and not later than 3:06 it rocks the shit out of me.. One of the best unz ever! At least for my taste.
