Story
First RMX (Winter games) was recorded almost "live" on a KORG Triton. So in this case I did not use ANY sequencing software. Just recorded as WAV. Afterwards I speeded the C64-samples up without changing the tuning and inserted them with the help of MULTITRACKING.

So it was impossible to remove ALL the timing problems. Even the SID-tunes themselves do and always did have different timing inbetween the same sequence.

Take care of business.

The timing is all wrong when some stuff comes in, there just isn't enough emotion, no matter how well mixed it is. It could have been so much better, but it's just average now. And over-reliance on the SID to make the tune in parts too. And over long!
Slightly too much over reliance on SID at times. Dunno, I don't think its too bad an effort.
It kind of works, timing is off, WAY too much SID but its kooky and certainly not a mix I would be expecting
Too long intro and has badly synced sid loops. Idea is ok though. Like the listing of events!
Everything was said, wrong timing and too SIDish
Doesn't start too bad but the mixing of SID with the other elements is really poor.
Don't mind the sid-parts :-) so, the extra goes for the unusual approch, even with some technically setbacks...
The hotdog-part is frexxilicious!:)
Sorry... No more words! I simply _don't_ like that now!:-/
(minor) negatives: a bit too much sid, timing. Positives: vocal parts (i agree with "they never had a better time... "), arrangement of hotdog theme, overall idea
Somehow I like it, maybe because it sounds like a dj-mix, with records slightly out of synch
Really like this tune, it is really slow, but good, and the guy that is talking in it does a great job. One of my favourite remix.
Haha, Hotdog 4tw.
Very good, although it could be a little shorter. I prefer to feel like wanting more, than having had a little too much.
Odd synching problems, quite a hodgepodge of stuff.
Is it possible to love and hate a track at the same time?
Sounds like one of my very first musical experiments on the C64 when I was 14 years old. And I'm not proud of the results of these experiments.
Quite good idea but poor arr
Coole Sache Parker ;)
I have huge difficulties with the depressive tone; how, basically, all people who enjoyed games in the 80's may as well kill themselves since the best time they've ever had is gone. Without that crap in there, it would be average.
Mixing is off, as is the sync... But it has cowbell! I like it for some odd reason!
Badly looped Sids to a simple drum beat just doesnt cut it, then the depressing voice over kills it stone dead.
Awesome
How can you not like this? It's so much fun.
