Ho ho ho,
Christmas is just a few more weeks ahead, so I thought it would be fun to do a christmas-themed remix of an Amiga tune.
Now, I don't know about you, but I prefer Christmas songs that sound happy and cheerful, like "Rudolf the red-nosed Reindeer" and such… Christmas songs like that drummer boy stuff are way too depressing for me (although from the score point of view, these are not too bad either… but the lyrics ruin it all for me - little boys' parents getting killed, people living in poverty - all this makes me want to jump off a bridge rather than getting me into the nice mood that one should be in on Christmas eve).
So the tune to base my remix on was easy to pick; the "semi-level" music of "James Pond 2:Codename Robocod" has this kind of child song character that my favourite kind of christmas songs works very well together with. As far as I remember, the game itself even included a Christmas-themed level!
