Video Game Music Live In Åkersberga, Stockholm, September 12-13

Tony Fluke Wiren (Retrogamingmusic) will perform live on stage (Saturday 16:00 CET) at the Videospel Festival in Stockholm. The full event will also be live streamed at RetroGamingMusics YouTube page.

Some of the other famous acts at this event will be the creator of the C64 Fairlight game Bo Jangeborn, Linus Åkesson (LFT), Christer Rindeblad (DatorMagazin), Jimmy Wilhelmsson AKA Spelpappan (Generation64, Fandrake), David Westerlund.

Linus (LFT) Åkesson . Is a musician and mad engineer with a soft spot for 8-bit computers and the sounds they make. He compose for and perform music on a variety of instruments, synthesizers, 8-bit computers, and things that I build or repurpose such as the Chipophone and the Commodordion.

David Westerlund Since graduating the Royal College of Music, he have arranged videogame concerts in collaboration with Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Michiru Yamane (Castlevania), Kohei Tanaka (One Piece) and many others. But enough talk, let's watch some videos!

Bo Jangeborg is a Swedish computer programmer. He made several programs for the ZX Spectrum, the best known being the game Fairlight (1985), its sequel Fairlight II (1986), and the graphic tool The Artist. He also wrote Flash!, the art package provided with every SAM Coupé.

Jimmy Wilhelmsson AKA Spelpappan. The man behind Fandrake, Generation64 / 500 and also runs a Swedish retro blog about computer games, Star Wars dioramas, board games, arcade games, magazines, and other things.

Christer Rindeblad Founder and editor-in-chief of the magazine DatorMagazin, the leading publication for home computers 1986–1995. Participates in the discussion panel on gaming history and controversial games.
