Hi guys,
finally its here!! the C64 & Amiga remixes album.
I'm proud to be part of this project and hope you'll also enjoy it!! ??
Not sure where to start. An interesting fact is that the first track of the album was a little fiddle I did with 'Harden Your Horns' by Sascha Zeidler (Linus) alreadt on 2020. Since then, I have dreamed of one day making my own C64 remix compilation. I didn’t really know where to begin or how to make a remix, so I started a journey two and a half years ago. I began by collecting C64 and Amiga tunes and figuring out how to convert them to my own style. After some thought, I decided to go with a synthwave/outrun style, focusing on warm analog synth leads and cool chords to reflect my own touch.
I worked on one track after another until I had a nice collection of 12 tracks. However, my job was very demanding, and I had many other interests such as retro obsession, C64 programming, and more, which slowed the project’s progress. After releasing the album 'Arcadia Dream' with Synth F.H., I decided to fine-tune the tracks, remixing and polishing the old ones to ensure they were truly the best from me.
Analyzing old C64 tracks was a hard, tough, and complicated task, but thanks to some 'secret' MIDI tunes, the process was easier… more
