Story
my second take on the zak mckracken theme. i might even do a third! there are some glitches in the guitars, but i had a lot of fun making this cover; grooving on the guitar while shaking my head and drinking beer gave the song the right mood, but not always the right notes..

i believe Razor was a person from Maniac Mansion, and that 'Razor and the Scumettes' was the name of his band. in Zak McKracken there's a tape containing a song by that band and you can play it in the converted van on mars (subtune #9 in Zak_McKracken.sid). this song dosn't have much in common with mine.. but hey, isn't it plausible to assume that the Scumettes has evolved a bit since '97?

Cool stuff.
E-Guitarrs all over the place. You'll love this remix when you like Rock music.
Yeah!
Noisy!
The sound quality is a bit noisy, but this is the best Remix of the track so far IMO!
I love it!

My absolut respect in that work! I like how you handle those guitariffs. Even that I would never had played so far with Zak to find this tape you're talking about 😉
Great work!

This is an amazing accomplishment; true to the original, yet so much more! I actually like this version BETTER than Matthew Kane's awesome pre-C64 demo tape archetype. Plasm303's guitar has a driven quality that reminds me of the Nerfherders on their theme for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This is quality music, even if you haven't heard the original SID. Razor would be proud to have her name on this amped-up, rockin' rendition.

I'm a long-time Plasm/Plams303 fan. I've searched high and low to find more songs by said artists, and I stumbled onto this site. Oddly, Zak McKracken was rearranged by him, and it was one of my other favorites to begin with.

I stumbled onto the homepage for him listed here and get message of "hello". Nothing more. I remember the site from years ago. I have about 25 songs from Plams303 and would love to hear more, or know if he/she plans to come up with more aural candy like this.

If someone would care to e-mail me about it, I'd be greatly appreciated. Great song, download it, 'cause it's 100% worth it. So many others out there, but I can't find half of them anymore - people are missing out!
