This remix is actually a reworking of the original SST version of the tune. (I know because I'm the Steve Criddle who did it).

To explain - a friend of mine managed to get an original Japanese CD of SST tunes (Outrun, Space Harrier, etc) performed by the SST Band. From what I understand, they wrote full versions of the tunes which were then simplified by Sega for use in their arcade games.

Anyway, the CD had the complete musical score for Magical Sound Shower in the booklet. So the notes in the piano part *aren't* wrong. The instruments we chose were an attempt to keep close to the original although we obviously didn't have the same equipment.

The only major change we made was the ending. The original version just looped the last part and faded out. I had heard a live performance of this piece where the SST Band played the ending as you hear it in our version. I felt it was a better ending, so I used that instead.
