What is "Lyramion" ?

It is a musical project, which I am running for more than 5 years. The name has its origin in the old amiga-game (Amberstar), wherein the fantasyworld was named similar. Bound by this unique game, there was no choice left for me except to salute the developers of this piece of jewellery. In all this time I wrote more than 80 songs which span 6 full albums. My music is rather depressive, gloomy, mystical and dreamy. Sometimes it's like a soundtrack to a good movie ( this is what I usually think about, when listening to the most songs ). Not everyone likes my music, though. Anyway, I have fun with composing and thus don't expect your pain to cease, hehe.

Who is the man behind "Lyramion" ?

Only one person, a 24 years old saxon. I compose since 1996. It all began with Magix Music Maker followed by Impulse Tracker, Jeskola Buzz and lead to Fruityloops and Cubase, which I prefer to use nowadays.

In my freetime I'm playing mostly computer-games or designing websites, like this here, for private purposes. Furthermore I enjoy reading fantasy-literature as well as mindrelated books and when I'm not going out then I'm relaxing while composing. As you can see, I'm the typical guy from your neighbourhood. Currently I'm doing my Abitur and after my graduation degree I plan on studying.

Why am I here ?
As stated before, I like good computer-games. It all began with the amiga 500 . The old games for this wonderful machine had a magic inside that impressed me. Not only one time that I felt in love for a game only because I was bewitched of the sound. And nowadays when it has become easier to compose - no produce whole songs at home I can realize my wish to give my favourite songs of those old games a new touch and share it with you.
