Syntax is a computer festival, dedicated solely to the demoscene - a place to present and celebrate realtime animation (called a demo), pre-rendered animation, graphics and music. The word
demopartyis globally used to describe this gathering of computer coders / musicians / 3D and 2D graphicians all under one roof. SYNTAX 2008 was a huge success and the various productions can be found under downloads section (Syntax Homepage). If you missed Syntax08 be sure to make it in 2009 and if you are new to the scene you should certainly come down for the screenings later in the evening.
