Compo Rules
Just a quick reminder about the theme of this year's compo.
Theme
Tribute to the Amiga 500's Paula soundchip
Celebrate 40 years of the Amiga! Enter the remix compo and pay tribute to Paula, the chip that defined a generation of sound!
The Amiga turns 40 years old in 2025, a true milestone for one of the most beloved home computers of all time. Its Paula soundchip gave us the iconic 4-channel stereo sound that shaped a generation of music and gaming. This year’s compo is dedicated to Paula’s legacy.
Rules
- Your remix must use at least two distinct instruments or sounds:
- One panned hard LEFT
- One panned hard RIGHT
- These two sounds must be clearly audible for at least 15 consecutive seconds.
- This alludes to Paula's classic stereo separation.
- While the theme is Amiga-related, C64 remixes are also welcome as long as they follow the above rule!
