Ohh yes… This tune was very catchy back in the good old days.. And I've never forgotten about it.. Although I've tried my best to make a good remix I still think that the original C64 tune is the best version..

Hmm.. I've recently found out that Rob actually did this one as a cover from Human League (I have never heard their version, though).
I only remember this tune from the intro by the German Crackers group called Dynamic Duo (They were amongst my favorite groups back then..)
This version is slightly different from the one on KWED.

I remember the first time I heard this music in a demo on the C64. I can't remember who made the demo but it included a little stick-man running around. The original tune was damn catchy and it has been flying around in my brain ever since..
This version is much different from the one on KWED. I've tried and optimize it since.. And this will be my final version of this tune.. So… Dr-Duke There will not be a Final Final Edition)…😉

Recently I picked it up again and finished it.. Originally I had much more stuff from the original tune in the mix.. But the more I messed around it I came to the conclusion to exclude various bits from the original..

Some original stuff.. C64 sounds mixed with new sounds and you get this.. This song could have been divided in the middle because it kind of changes into a whole new song there… You could say that this is a 2-in-1 song.. 😊

The last song on this album and a tribute to the C64, Slayradio and life in general..
When I made the Comic Bakery remix back in 2003 I was beginning to doubt myself and my music.. I was actually tired of everything and was thinking of quitting composing music as I didn't think I was improving my skills and I had reached the end of my talent.
But then I discovered Slayradio and heard my remix being played on air by some crazy people called Boz & Kenz.. It was a great experience for me and later on I released another remix.. And would you believe it, they also played that one.. I got some nice comments and useful critism by people which helped me further in my music creation.. And with this in mind I would like to thank : Boz, Kenz, Skitz, Ziphoid, Makke, Slaygon & Andreas for playing my shit on radio… Thanks to Jan for KWED so I could release my crap on his site and mostly important… Thanks to everyone on the irc-channel #Slayradio!! You are all fantastic people..
I believe that this was a second chance" in my musical career… And thank you for downloading this album (you must be insane to waste your bandwidth on this)😉
