Just got back into it, and decided to remix "Space Debris" by Captain (Markus Kaarlonen).
Nice little exercise to shake off some rust and get all the old stuff set up and installed.
(I have submitted it to AmigaRemix as well ofcourse ...

The "drop" around :50 really did it for me. Great little track.

I can relate to Analog above on this one. I tend to wade through my thousands of presets in various VSTs and find the closest one to what I had in mind, and then tweak it just right. Sometimes a tweak is not even necessary.

Its the end result that counts, not the approach taken to get there.

But albums commercially pushed on the public today labeled "HardTrance" or "HardStyle" is pretty much identical to the style displayed in the Monkey-remix mr. Remedy posted up there. So I guess those not deeply inovolved in the genre wont know ...
