I personally think that part of what made resident evil so popular was the bad dialogue. Everything about the game reeked b-movie horror, and I know that is what made me like it (I'm big into b-grade horror like Night of the Living Dead).

I didn't know about this until I read the thread. Well, that really sucks. He, Hans Zimmer, James Horner and John Williams are the only soundtrack composers I like, and now one is dead.

This was one of my favorite demos on the amiga, they could almost have taken all that work and made a game to go with it.
