Now I've got a free patch point by the bed as well as by my other keyboards. Actual boxes are so expensive, so I improvised the junction with bits and pieces, saving me wear on valuable Commie and Casio socketry.

All I need for connections are simple MIDI couplers, sold for maybe 99p each.
And done dirt cheap using spares too. Must've saved perhaps £150 at least.

And with a hefty Yamaha P80 covering over the job, I have a swish-looking Retro Wall. Especially as my next job is to mount my JBL Control Ones on door hinges underneath, a new cheap way to angle speakers without the problem of brackets. The space below these jobs is also where my head goes in bed.

Does this sort of thing sound good to anyone else?

All in a big house-wide web. I think many people miss out because they think they only want one room. Or they're told they do.

My studio was ever just a tangle of wires. I have to say when I saw the subject line I thought you were one of those spammers :)

I just delete it, but kitchens do seem to pop up suspiciously much...

It was? Probably Ziph or LMan deleted it. It needs three of us checking in to keep this place clean!

BTW, how is Wireless MIDI these days? I remember buying "Midi Over Lan" when I had expectations I might do something with it, but that never happened...

If you're asking me then this is probably the first I've heard of it. And being eccentric, I just had to have a look.

Well Magix make 'em, as well as the higher-end Midijet. That must be pretty space age and could come in genuine handy on tour: http://www.midijet.com/

So good they tell you all but the price, which must be expensive. Ebay says you can get them for maybe £ 250 average cost. No wonder they didn't flood the mass market.

There have been days, that I wish I had moderator access so I can delete them. I've logged on and seen 15 posts all spam.
