Me too. It's tied up with memories of the 2002 World Cup, watching the USA lose to Germany in the hotel room...

Yup - the boy band video premiered that night...

Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana!

Four years... bloody 'ell. Where did THAT time go?! (Probably the same place as that one sock goes when you do the laundry.)

The poor old air conditioning unit just couldn't put up with the number of people in that club that night. The PC that was supposed to be playing a couple of the videos on the TV screens kept shutting down because it was too hot, and water was just dripping out of the aircon vent. We were hot and sweaty. But it was STILL good fun!

Gah, I'm truly sad I didn't get into the BITs until Brighton, but I'm glad I finally did... :)

The math doesnt add up though. I joined here not long after gossips, and thats 3 years ago ?

*confucious say - don't fink, it hurt skull and damage valuable dwinking time*

Could I REALLY have left it so long to join ? *state of utter bewilderment*

Four years since Gossips
That was a great day & night, but for tall people like myself it was a pain as you had to come ducking
Even worse when you are pissed

Not with all the beer I put away. I got properly rat-arsed that night... Christ on a Chrome Kawasaki, I think I've still got the hangover.

Start of a new chapter in a lot of our lives that. Proud stuff.

Indeed. My first time sleeping on a bench by the thames, under the big wheel. I dont plan on repeating that - especially with the lack of open toilets in the early hours, but watching the sunrise in London on the sunday morning - that was something else man, it really was.

Oh, well. Reminds me that I've NEVER been involved in ANY remix event... and from the looks of it, it will never happen... :(

BE HAPPY! YOU'RE SPARED FROM MY WRATH!
Or bad breath... bad jokes (live!)... etc...

Plenty of abiding memories from BITLive 3 really:

* waking up on Friday morning at 7am to watch the England v Brazil game in my hotel room with LaLa, then meeting all the other members of the HVSC team as they arrived during the day
* lugging around my C64 and disk drive and games on a ridiculously hot tube and having to shower and change in the hotel really quickly on the way back
* Pascal Roggen's violin solo during Monty on the Run, which set the standard. I actually remember during the rehearsals that originally the first two bars of the tune were played at the end, but those who were there suggested "why not end it at the end of the tune"? - and by the end of Friday it worked perfectly :)
* hanging out with PPOT and Kwed etc on the Thursday evening, getting the shop with the Commodore logo and then doing a curry in the place next to Gossips, and then afterwards dropping Kwed off at the tube stop and going to Waterloo to meet Shark and LaLa off their train from Paris
* the heat in Gossips - it was just intense, man!
* the aircon failing and almost wrecking PPOT's keyboard
* hanging out with Machinae Supremacy and watching the lead dude from there do an excellent impersonation of The Great Cornholio
* going to the Game On exhibition with the HVSC folks, and generally relaxing with those guys. And 5 player Skate or Die and World Games on the Sunday night on my C64 (me, Adam, Kristoffer, Shark and LaLa)

It was just a superb weekend and one I'll treasure. The Friday after I moved into Zaw Towers and got the keys to the house, so it always brings back nice memories for me. Thanks everyone!
