First BIT Live Video Clips Up!

Post by Chris Abbott »

And if you want to see the whole performance on a big screen with kick ass PA and lasers... then BIT Lite is the place to be!

http://www.c64audio.com/free/cd_new/cd/C64DVD1

The clips are:
Press Play on Tape - Pumpkin Man
Forbidden Forest - C64 Mafia
Armageddon Man (half of it) - Visa Röster
One Man and his Droid - Rob Hubbard
and Deflektor - SID80s

Three versions:

1) MPG = 60Mb MPG stuff
2) MP4 = lo-res 6Mb versions (still quite good though!)
3) MP4_hi = higher res 12Mb versions

Enjoy! Buy! http://www.c64audio.com

Actually, I don't know (I know set top boxes can play it). Suggestions? I think there's a Microsoft MP4 codec, or just throw it at Media Player and see if it copes.

One of the reasons I posted the URL here first is to find out if there are teething problems.

Tried WMP10, WinAmp, DivxPlayer6.

None of them played it.

Tsk, and MP4 is a standard, too!

Looks like some DIVX encoding is needed as well, I guess.

You know when I first heard they were showing the DVD at bitlite, I sorta thought Id wait til I got home to watch my copy. Now with a great PA and lasers makes me get mighty excited!:)

Well, I'm busy encoding some more clips in xDiv and 3GP. But the MPG should work fine if you've got the bandwidth.

The new place for the clips is:

http://www.c64audio.com/free/video/

downloads in xvid_med vary between 11 and 20Mb and need the XVid codec.

The other directories will appear overnight in that place, but the medium quality ones are there now.

Well I downloaded "Deflektor" and "Pumpkin Man" just to kill my curousity. I must say they are a rock'n clips and very profesionally done. I even noticed that PPOT logo it makes it look a TV hits show.
