Robotdreams (feat. Paranoid Android)

Post by Lagerfeldt »

Just finished this remix of Ramiro Vaca's "Robotdreams" from 1987.

Added some lyrics to the melody, it's about a luvstruck robot who obviously can't get 'real' love.. 8)

Hope you get the joke!

Fantastic mix Lagerfeldt - but I *really* wish you had run the gumby robot voice through a vocoder to make it sound, well, more "robot-esque" and less chipmunky!

Apart from that, coolio! :D

Thanks a lot

I see your point 100% on the vox, however I laughed my ass off over that ridiculous "chipmunky" sound (as you so aptly termed it).

Sorry I can't be more serious, it's all a f*cking laugh to me anyway :-) When I make music for money I can be more serious though :roll:

if its a joke tune.. then brilliant it works great lagerfeldt... though that guy reminds me of the robot that was in ullysees (cant spell that name).. remember that robot?.. he looked like a walking set of cardboard boxes was decidedly french and had the most annoying voice ever!.

but the tune.. excellent work.

that voice... makes me want to use my anti matter displacement unit on whatever peice of kit u used to make it just to ensure its sticky death ^^.

still its good :-)

Thanks for the comments.

The chipmunky robot is probably annoying, but the girls think he's cute. Awww :P

@Putzi:
I came here to post a comment on Lagerfeldt's remix and then...
It's all your fault ! :wink:

@Lagerfeldt:
It's a funny tune. And the robot has a really pathetic touch. =)
I wonder how it develops with another, more robotic voice.

Vosla, I tried changing the voice to a more robotic "serious" voice but the gas just went out of the balloon, if you know what I mean.

So I'm sticking with the helium chipmunky voice, which suits the lyrics just fine (it's a pretty pathetic robot as someone correctly said..). ;-)

Just uploading the slightly changed version now.

It sounds like a little meek alien-like robot. Fair enough.

I likes it.
