I would love it if someone were to remix subtune 1 (the title tune, a cover of the arcade version). I think it would work well as a kind of jaunty pseudo-orchestral mix similar to the title theme of the Gummi Bears cartoon (I'm seroius!
)

Rob Hubbard recorded himself playing at the piano for a couple of hours, then transcribed the results for the tunes..
As you rightly say, subtune 1 is based on the arcade machine.
How about a SuperCPU conversion of the Dragon's Lair games?
And I look forward to the remix(es)

Yep. I totaly agree that sub tune one would make a great addition to anyones Remix collection. Its got my vote.
