Delta ingame tune, whatever sub that is. Psychedelic like nothing else ever heard on the C64!

nearly all of Hubbards stuff are classics, i wouldn't like to be the one to choose what goes in and what doesn't.

Well you know me, I always like the longer Hubbard pieces, so:

Knucklebusters (in - game) - the full 17 minutes!
W.A.R. - 9 minutes
Kentilla - 12 minutes or so.

And of course, Skate or Die! :)

Some great choices there (although most of the obvious classics were already shortlisted for the compilation). Once the final track pool is assembled I'll split them between the two CDs and will post the track listings in this thread. We can then chop and change it until everyone is happy - although with a project like this I'm bound to miss somebody's obscure fave choon!

I wouldn't mind sneaking some early-ish Rob stuff on there (Human Race, Hunter Patrol etc.) as those tracks have special C64 memories for me. But don't forget that at the end of the day it's Robs call as to what goes on there as we may choose a tune he's not fond of at it might get dropped!

Only some of the finest Commodore 64 tunes ever produced digitally recorded directly from the C64 - Not emulated, not remixed - 100% pure SID from the MASTER!

(+ A previously unreleased orchestral version of one of Robs own epics arranged by Rob himself!) :D

That doesn't happen to be Kentilla I heard on an early alpha of Back in Time 2 would it? If so, that makes it worth buying the CD alone!!!

Jees Kenz - just two CD's ?? That's gonna make for some tough choices. I'd like to see/hear stuff that maybe sounded different dependant on your SID chip.
Stuff like Lightforce with it's unusual filter exploitation. Knucklebusters was always a bit kooky too. Gosh the more I think the harder these choices become. Whatever you decide it's a sure fire purchase.

Good luck - and many thanks. Rob Hubbard fans rejoice !

hey whatever goes on it will be good im sure.. but i definetly wanna hear lastv8.. my fav of the hubbard tunes.. followed by ace2 that was an excellent tune and still makes me cringe with fury now (bad memories of cheating bastard friends and "radar rockets")... git.

You have to include Sam Fox Strip Poker by John York!

No, Skitz, he doesn't. Bad Skitz. That's a bad Skitz.

Monty's list looks fair enough. Though I'd rather have Chimera sub-tune 2 instead of 1. Nothing wrong with the first one, it's just that the second one has the coolest beat...ever!
