We are extremely heartbroken to report that Johannes Bjerregaard, a gifted SID musician, a former member of Maniacs of Noise, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the age of 52 in Lubbock, Texas due to a recurrence of cancer. He is survived by his wife and two children. Our thoughts are with his family.

From the moment I first heard this tune it got etched in my mind forever. IMHO, the most beautiful, most poignant, most emotional SID tune ever made.

Thank you for all your music, Johannes! I will never forget you.

Incredibly sad to hear. 52 years is way too early to go. He made some profound sids. Sweet, Shape and the Tiger Mission Highscore theme are my favorites from him.

So sorry to hear this, such a great talent gone too soon.
