Well ... it's official... I'm not going to be there! Which is bloody gutting to say the least...

10 days ago I spoke with Paul because on the Friday I had to go into Hospital... small routine op ... no worries, I might have looked a little bruised for the show... no biggy ....

2 days ago my hospital appointment gets cancelled because ... I've got fuckin mumps! For the love of god! Mumps... not in a massive way but enough to be able to pass the thing on to everyone else... so, good chat with Paul over all this and we have decieded in the interest of actual health to everyone I breath over I'll be spending the weekend at home... alone.. oh goody ...

So, the show must go on without the greenman this weekend... have a top time AND please lots of photo's!

Hey chaps,

Quick question, whats happening between 2pm and 7pm? is this when the raffles etc are being done?

I'm just trying to figure out an arrival time for myself and MugUK.

Does anyone know what time the raffles etc are being done? We don't want to miss them after all this event is for giving to charity and we can't well do that if we turn up late.

This is how it all stacks up,

In the day time the musicians are rehearsing and we are finishing the setting up etc, so nothing is going on in the day.
The event starts at 7pm and the first act "MORGAN" will be on from 8pm till 8.45pm.
From 9pm to around 9.40 ish we will be doing the raffles - auctions - name cards and the buffet will open.
From 9.45 S.I.D80s will be on :D
After S.I.D80s we have a DJ on till close
Last orders are around 11.30 ish and I would say people will be gone by 1am ish.

Full address for the avenue is,

The Avenue , Greaves Avenue , Failsworth , Manchester , M35 0NA.
Contact number is 0161 681 0589 web address is http://www.theavenue.me.uk

Just a final note to all who can't make it,
I WILL BE RECORDING THE S.I.D80s set and will upload on the web for all to see

Hope this helps and C U ALL THERE LATER !!!!

Had a great time, was nice to see so many people (both retro's and norm's) there supporting a great cause.

Roll on the next event.
