Ok, im definately in the market for a more reliable host..... no banners or popups, uk based..... cheap as hell with perl, mysql, java, php, webmail, pop3 etc etc with a good size gig HD space and as much monthly transfer for notta lotta bucks - any suggestions..... ? im REALLY not happy with Catalyst2 - This problems been current since they had a DNS problem last week - they still say its not them - but what else can it be.. mind you - for a tenner a year its not a bad deal - but what good is webspace if no bugger can access it !

Suggestions on a postcard, discount for Blue Peter badge holders :D LOL

Why not try Yahoo? I use it and my site has never been down and MBD records use it too........

Yahoo carries banners n stuff.... the idea of having my own server was to get away from all that palava... kinda spoils what ur doing... i considered geocities n stuff, i can block the ads there but theres no public ftp setup available.

50MB is WAY too little... nice idea tho... and im definate;y not going the whole hog with the top package.. i only pay £10 a year as it is now.. with a gig BW and a gig HD.. nice thought tho fellas thx....

Looking for a uk based host with a similar setup to my existing one.

AARGghhh Intollerable .. ive tested the site - it works .... ill get back in touch with the site host - in the meantime, if anyone else wants to display them for the rest, plz feel free.

No worries mate... I have seen them though. When you originally posted the link for them I had no trouble watching them...
