The new machine is now safely tucked away at the data center, and things will start to get back online pretty soon.

After some kernel patching and a reboot, the machine stopped responding, so no more work done remotely right now. The replacement machine will be shipped out to the data center today, which means services will start to come back today. DNS comes first, after that some web pages, and then all shell accounts.

The new machine has been switched off most of the time since early Friday 28th due to Slaygon having visitor the entire weekend. DJ Skitz will still do a Saturday Night Warmup at 6PM CET on SLAY Radio. Tune in on the 128kbps stream at http://radio.c64.org:8000/

Work is progressing. We're fixing up the security of the machine and installing software. The machine will probably move to the data center on Monday, and services will be coming back soon after that.
