I've not used SIDPLAY in a while but don't have to use the C64MUSIC directory?

Hello
/C64Music is the subfolder.
I tried and... Sidplayer simply shuts down.
The player "plays", but File/Export is disabled and I thought it was because of that.
Okay I can record the tune instead of exporting it
Thanks for your time

This sounds awfully similar to the bug I reported on Sidplay3's Github page:

https://github.com/IngeHP/Sidplay3/issues/3

At the very end there's a workaround mentioned in a comment that worked for me.

Thank you LaLa
editing the .ini file worked.
I mean... Sidplay now remembers the path, but I don't see any changes in the behavior of the software
Maybe I don't get the meaning of that setting, but thanks again

Setting the HVSC path was supposed to serve two purposes:
- For Sidplay to read the Songlengths.md5 database in HVSC - it seems to be doing that, because it sets the song lengths correctly by me.
- For Sidplay to read the STIL.txt database in HVSC - if it does that, I don't see any sign of it, because there's no option to show STIL information, and it doesn't pop up any window on my machine, either.

I'll report the bugs to the HVSC Crew directly, as Inge doesn't seem to be reading the Github comments.

Hi!

Just a quick note - I got an email reply from Inge. Unfortunately, he has to deal with some personal matters first, but he will be fixing bugs in Sidplay3, so please, do keep reporting them, preferably on Sidplay3's Github page (see link above).
