thanx alot ,sir tonka ! i will try the thingsounds.zip as soon as possible. i am curious how you managed to get a constant pitchbend in pro 53 without using an envelope that bends the sound. using the lfo in pro 53 will result in up and down, doesn`t it ? another way would be to send pitchwheel data...

@chris: the thing bounces back tune is 125 bpm (tried it with that song). that could explain your theory. @lman: i thought that, too, about michael. so i directly posted it here instead of mailing him. as far as i remember, you told me about the tempo prob of the front end years ago. but i wasn`t su...

hi! i downloaded sid2midi windows front end and i have my reg-key. so every function is enabled. but if i try the tempo bpm manually, the imported midi file in sx will not take the bpm as i entered in s2m. even if i let the menue point on autodetect, i always get a wrong bpm. or should i say: i alwa...

ahh, thanx, chriss. i think, ben did it in another way on the sid (ringmodulator perhaps), otherwise there will always be one voice stolen from the sid permanently.and by only 3 voices this would be too much to make a song sound well. or am i wrong, because the musicroutine changes so quickly the sou...

hi anax! only could download the second link. about that short piece i don`t really know what to say about it. it just sounds like a normal synth imho. could you point out what you think about it ? do you mean it`s less sounding good than hardware synth ? this could then be the old question about wh...

thanx, nada. i would say: the idea of the main chord is the best way to define the key of the song. when i read for example: beethovens sonata in d-minor, i always thought, the whole tune is only made with the d-minor scale. but now i understand that the tune can also have another key, whereas the d...

the key of a tune
how do i get the key ? i heard once, if you hit a chord at the end of a song that fits, it`s the key the tune is written. is it right ? another thing is , if i play a melody , how do i get it then ? i mean if i play chords to it, is it the key then ? i know this sounds stoopid for some of ya musicia...
