Re: Reaping the Ebay harvest
Though you'd have to admit they would look very snazzy in a Datasette. I might take the plunge. And I'm also on the bags again. They'd do wonders refreshing the now-foggy ones, wrapping my wall keyboards and micros. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Clear-Refuse-Sacks-Bin-Bags-STRONG-150G-Rubbish-Scrap-Waste-1...

Re: Razmo's Gear rambling thread
Don't worry about the delay, it's nice to have you back. That's a good piece you're building there. It certainly sounds cross-decade, opening with a solid sound which is evocative of the 70s prog bands, then moving into the more 80s-sounding main part. In my mind, perhaps a bass and guitar melody bo...

Paper reed section about my level. Great fun though.
Thought I'd have a go. I tried a real trumpet once but, as an asthmatic, using a foot pump for blow is a no-go. So let's see what Carol Vorderman has to say about making some paper pipes. rGKm8cSDJHA Now this is us. Didn't we improvise stuff in lieu of shop-bought wonders ourselves? I'll try those a...

What am I supposed to be listening for? There's been so much repetition of everything that it's all alike to something.

Re: Reaping the Ebay harvest
That's a lot of synth, isn't it! I quite enjoy the older works there. I thought keyboard synths of the 80s and later could be a bit too saccharine. Well, far too saccharine, especially on the supermarket-sold cheapo LPs like Telstar's The Synthesiser Album of 1989. But the SID certainly bucks that. ...

Re: 8-bit PHOTO IMAGING: Minibeasts on the Commodore
Well like I said, these are actual Commodore pictures with a viewer. If you're able, why not download the full disk images and have a ball on the breadbin? And yes, I was really impressed with the ant myself. As with the Muppets and tigers. Certain photos are really given that extra touch when bitcr...

If the Atari 2600 had over 100 colours, how come the later Commodore 64 had just 16?

Re: C64Audio.com is changing...
Though a Commie fan myself, this is something I've been completely unaware of. I know there's been a recent chiptune/remix scene but as I only got online in my own home at the Millennium, I had no idea to know any of this mammoth back history in detail. Surely the scene's too big to actually die? Ma...

Re: Beyond (Tears of my Heart) on acoustic guitar
Well never mind, it's still real music. Lovely too. And I'd need a decent rompler to even sound like that.
