2midi from ian luck comes to mind. (standard licence 15€) @ http://www.un4seen.com/ "2MIDI is a balls-on accurate MOD to MIDI file converter, it doesn't just stick the notes in a MIDI file. It also converts the effects and instrument info (volume/pan envelopes etc...) to make an exact MIDI copy...

the gap between hard- and softsynth is only getting smaller everyday - imho which synths like diva,zebra2 there's no gap anymore.. ..of course you need a decent midikeyboard and controller but basically it grows together somehow. it's great that they build hardware but i dont think it had something ...

great work on the lead Mordi and the rest is also very good of course! i think the most important thing when remixing c64-sid tunes is to catch exactly that funky feeling with the lead. the last musician i was impressed because of that skill was "moog" and now you! respect! :D

since the rounded edges were mentioned several times i want to suggest that you can easily change the edges back under:
piano-roll options -> view -> rounded (untick for squared-off)
