I've recently ordered that controller on the top right - the Nanocontrol. It seems to have quite astonishing programming features for it's size/price.
Still waiting for it to arrive though.

Do you know if it's velocity responsive then? ... I've not been able to find info on that part, but I have my eyes out for it also... would make for a perfect portable thing when I'm out of the studio.

Oops!... it was the Nano Control you were talking about ... it's the key-thingie I'm talking about of course... guess I'll have to search for the info some more then.

I bought myself the NanoPAD a while back for 59 euros. It's such a cool little thing to have for it's price!
It's not perfect, tho. The velocity curve can be set to a couple of common presets, but the sensitivity itself cannot be changed. And in my opinion, it's a bit too sensitive to be able to have decent velocity control when using it for percussion. Furthermore, the usb socket is soldered directly onto the PCB using SMD soldering techniques and is not supported by its casing. It broke off from the PCB with only very little force after 2 days. So keep that in mind when using it.

Still, fun thing to have, more than enuf settings to suit ones needs, cheap... and cool! Thinking about getting the NanoCONTROL too.

The Nano Control is worth every cent.
The only downside is that it looks like a toy but
it is nothing like that. In fact I use it in a mixerless
studio environment as a quite versatile monitor controller.
Example: Using it, I could set two different buttons for talkback control,
one for toggle, the other with touch characteristic.
This is just perfect for my needs and not possible with much
more expensive devices.

I've got nanoKontrol. It's really good for the price. You can carry it anywhere. I used in live performance controlling Ableton Live - worked great. Buttons get stuck sometimes though.
