Hi Everyone! :)

Well... one good thing has come from the fact that RKO is still down; I finally pressed myself to start making a homepage!

So here it is, finally... my Terra Cresta remix that I advertised months ago. Just press the following link and press the hyperlink.

http://home1.stofanet.dk/razmo/

I have to warn you; that if you expect a 3/4 tune like the original you'll be disappointed! :) It's 4/4, and it's different!

Before anyone ask me what the robot's sayin, it's:

"Good day intruder. This is Razmo the Robot talking. You may not pass, this is the law of master Galway. I must destroy you now, prepare to die!"

"Razmo the Robot will play synthesizer for you now"

That's about it... :) ... hope you like it.

Regards, Jess D. Skov-Nielsen.

That is a pretty frickin' darn fine remix, good work Razmo. :D

(I've just watched a 'Mystery Science Theatre 3000' and the robot noises at the start conjured up images of the show.) :)

Well thanx everyone! :D

I'm glad you like it. More like this will come in the future. The first two mixes I did was more quiet ones, and I'm better with speedy tunes

To Ifadeo; well... I've dropped the project because Thorsten Klose's project is in fact the same thing (even use the same MCU), and He's better at hardware development than I am. The reason I ever started my project was because no one else wanted to make the features I wanted, but Thorsten have proven VERY interrested in my idears, so there is really no point in continuing the project now. I've just bought the PCBs and components to build one myself, and are helping Thorsten out with new idears and stuff (a few important ones have already gone into the new OS for it, especially the filter decay curve parameter and key-syncing of waveforms!). So in short, we are joining the best of his and mine into his project. You would have to have some soldering skills etc. if you want this package. By the way, I believe Thorsten talked to me about doing an OPL3 synth for his MIDIBOX too this year, but you better get the final word on this from Thorsten himself, I would not want to promise anything on his behalf! ... would be nice though! I once owned a Korg DS-8/707 FM synth, that could produce unison playin with 8 layered voices, and I tell you, basses kicked ass! I've never seen anything else that could make that sound, not even my Yamaha FS1R! I'll hope that I can work with thorsten on this feature in the future (DS-8 use a new version of the Yamaha YM sound-chip used in the arcade machine "Turbo Outrun". The OPL3 is much more powerful so...).

Thanx again! :O)

Well, the robot voice was done with a demo version of fruity-loops.
I checked out the program and stumbled upon it's speech synthesizer.

Fiiine tune! Fun to listen to! Who did the manical laughter? :D

BTW: The design of your homepage is so very.... crystal clear and straight, something you have to admire in these flash-overloaded times... 8)
(Well, damn. Seems I'll never finish my own homepage. So there is none to blame me for... )
