I fully intend/hope to be there. Having bought the ticket, it would be a real bugger if I didn't. However much i really love my fickle, mind-changing, 'oh-sorry-we-deciced-to-go-on-holiday', lovely Brighton-resident relatives, without accommodation, I'm buggered. Worst comes to the worst, I know for a fact that wheelie bins keep the wind out a treat.
This is not yet a cry for help, but with a week to go, it may yet get that way!
Okay, I've got accommodation and transport sorted now. Thanks to the damn TUC conference, Brighton's booked solid. The only hotel with vacancies that I could afford was in Hickstead, about 20 minutes away. So I've gone for that. It'll have to do.

Still can't work out why it's an issue, if the conference ends on
Thursday. Did people just book for the week on company money
to enjoy a free holiday? Who would do such a thing..??!
oh dear, If only people has heeded my warning. :-/
I imagine the issue with the TUC is because those coming down from the north or perhaps anywhere above london find the distance an issue. So they'd probably have thought that they might aswell turn the event into a holiday whilst they are there.
As soon as we found out the TUC conference was on we booked as soon as we found out the date of bitlive.

Er... don't answer that
Chris
Hehe, we booked the week after as a holiday, so I have time to recover
